Christmas is right around the corner. Undoubtedly, with that reality, you expect to find certain things. Perhaps some presents under the tree. Or, some holiday classics on the Hallmark channel. Maybe it’s a particular flavor at the Starbucks drive thru. With Christmas, there just come certain things we expect to find. In today’s episode, Cameron and Dr. J spend some time in conversation tackling more of your questions before diving into the topic, “How do we find Jesus?” And, before you dismiss that questions because you’ve already found Him, perhaps there is something new for you this Christmas season — something more — that the Lord desires to show you.
03:40 — We read in 1 Timothy 6:16, “[God] who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.” Didn’t Moses see God?
08:40 — What is your favorite Christmastime food or treat?
10:32 — Why do we call it a white elephant gift?
14:07 — What should I tell my children about Santa?
19:25 — Are there promises for specific people at specific times? And, if so, how do we know which promises in His Word are for me?
24:09 — Is there ever room in our faith for our doubts?
26:23 — We read in Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” What does it mean to seek the Lord with all of our heart?
28:05 — Why, then, are there times in my life when finding God seems difficult? Is that always a result of my heart?
29:00 — As Christians, aren’t we always in His presence? How does that seeking fit into that reality?
30:55 — This Christmas, how do I find Jesus? Maybe for the first time or maybe in a new way?
